THE BASICS ON OUR HUNTS...

OUR HUNTING PROGRAM: With our main goal being to provide you with a quality hunting experience, we offer a very limited number of hunts per season each year.

We are also committed to running a "low pressure" hunting program. This allows for a comfort level for the game animals on our ranch because there are not a bunch of hunters running wild through them.

All of this enables us to better cater to your hunt, whether it be mule deer, elk, bear or a combination hunt.

WHAT WE HUNT: We have 11,000 acres of land available to hunt in GMU 22. Our ranch consists of 1,300 acres of deeded land, with another 800 acres of BLM fenced in with us.

In addition, we have the BLM hunting permit for the land that adjoins our ranch to the west.   We are the only legally permitted outfitters on it.

This permit increases our available land to 11,000 acres.

THE "LAY OF THE LAND":  We have "some of everything" when it comes to terrain. Down low, we have open meadows with an abundance of forage. The ranch also has sagebrush areas providing good cover and native grass. (Mother Nature came up with some spectacular rock formations in these lower areas.)

As we go around the mountain, we run into scrub oak with some aspen and timbered areas. Even where the oak gets thick, we still have an excellent grass base. Then on top of the mountain, if levels out somewhat and then falls into deep, rough draws. No matter where you are, the views are amazing.

Our ranch elevations run from 6750' to 9000'.

Our water situation is very good in that we have invested in several wells with water tanks for livestock and game use. We constructed a pond with each well/tank for additional water storage. We also have several natural springs on our property. "Sheep Creek" runs along the eastern edge of our ranch, following Highway 13.

ACCOMODATIONS & MEALS: Our hunters stay in a modern bunkhouse (which actually used to be a feed storage building). It has a bathroom with tub/shower, a full kitchen and lots of personality. Guys enjoy being able to actually scout deer from inside the bunkhouse a lot of the time.

All of our meals are served in the main house. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served "home-style". Please be warned - no one has lost weight on a hunt with us yet!

ONE MORE THOUGHT...While we cannot guarantee you an animal, we do promise to work hard for you and provide you with the best possible hunt that we can. We cannot control game animals or the weather, but beyond that, we will do our best. We want you to have a safe, enjoyable hunt. And we commit to giving you honest, accurate information about hunting at our ranch.
